Teaching 150:

1. You come here in your desire to be comforted, because you have not found relief in your tribulations You have run to the doors of doctors and lawyers, you have turned to the hearts of those who love you, and you have not been able to recover your peace of mind. You have convinced yourselves that you can find the healing balm and the light that you crave only at the source from which all good things come. You are all seeking the true path, you all need spiritual nourishment, the word of encouragement and hope to cheer you up; and as you attain what you are seeking, you all bring to mind your anxieties, your fear of divine judgment and your longing to be pure with your conscience.

2. You are in my presence although you feel distant from me. You are not alone with your pain, I am with you; and if you call yourselves misunderstood, I tell you that I, the Father, know all that is going on inside you and which will give you the solution you seek, the peace you lack and the help to reach your upliftment.

3. When you first tuned in to hear my word, you enjoyed it and found it to be pure in its essence. You recognized that I sent it to you; you only had doubts about the form in which I communicate myself to men. But when you study it, you will recognize that I have made no mistake and that man, because he is my child, is qualified to serve me as a tool to carry out my counsel in service to his fellow men.

4. I call men, women and children to make them my disciples; but while some believe, others doubt and distrust. This is because they have been so much misled that today, as I speak to mankind by using the minds of uneducated, simple and humble men as transmitters of my teachings, my rallies appear to them as something strange. Recognize that my word is immutable in its truth, and that what I told you in the First Time I confirmed in the Second Time and confirmed it in the Third Time.

5. All you who hear my word in this way have been prepared to feel and understand this manifestation of my Spirit, and you have only waited for the moment when I called you to bear witness to these rallies. I persuaded no one; even before you came in the flesh, I told you that you would be present at these events and would be among the number of chosen beings who would bring the Good News to the world.

6. The children of this time let me see their perilous way. They tell me that the milieu in which they breathe is not the most conducive to spiritualization and they ask me for light for their parents and teachers. In their case, a struggle between Spirit and body* has begun from an early age, in which sometimes good and reason prevails, and at other times flesh prevails.

* See footnote under 149, 9

7. Do not tell me that you are weak, since you carry the light of My Spirit within you, and I have provided you with virtue and energy so that you may fulfil your duties Make an effort and make use of your authority.

8. I have come down to all my children in search of their Spirit because it belongs to me But not all of them want to follow me, the majority ask me for another period of time and tell me that he cannot come with me at this time. But I have given each Spirit the necessary time to fulfill his duty.

9. Though you have suffered much during this time and long to have a better life, the Father tells you: "Work out your peace, and you shall find rest already in this world or in the spiritual world. This earth that you inhabit is a place of atonement, of struggle, of perfection.

10. If you wish to remember the life of Jesus in the Second Age, you will find it filled with suffering, without comforts and joys. He is the model, the model that stands before your Spirit so that you may follow him. But everyone who comes to me will find relief, because I am the inexhaustible wellspring that overflows in streams. Make use of it to irrigate your fields. The fields are prepared so that men will cultivate them immediately. The soil is waiting for it before it becomes covered with weeds or harmful herbs. Go and till it, and when you see that the wheat is ripe, cut it together with the weeds, and only later separate the one from the other. Therefore, I always tell you: Watch and pray, because if you are careless, the tares will grow faster than your seed, and its fruits will predominate on the day of harvest. Make your fields golden so that you can put your wheat in my granaries and the harvest will be abundant.

11. Mankind hungers for my word, for my truth. People desire and long for light for their minds; they call for justice and expect comfort. This is a crucial time. Verily, I tell you, many ideas, theories, and even dogmas, which for centuries they held to be truths, will fall to the ground and be rejected as false. Fanaticism and idolatry will be fought and eliminated by those who have been most taken by it and bound to it. The teachings of God will be understood, their light, content and nature will be understood and felt.

12. When, after a time of trials, in which they will suffer very great confusion, the Spirit of scientists will become light and they will hear the voice of their conscience, they will discover what they never dreamed of.

13. Again I say to you: Watch! For in this time of conflict between creeds and doctrines, religions and sciences, many people will think that the knowledge their books have given them will be the weapon with which they can defeat my new disciples, knowing full well that you have no books with you. - When Jesus preached to the multitudes, He did not speak to them of teachings that He had learned from books. Yet he taught with wisdom, and he gave evidence of this from childhood when he appeared among the teachers of the law, confusing and silencing them with his questions and leaving them dismayed by his answers. The knowledge of Jesus sprang from the divine Spirit, who revealed everything to him.

14. If any one of you would empty his mind, keep his heart free from bad feelings and base passions, and lift up his Spirit to the Father to give himself to him in love and service to his neighbor, he would become a pure fountain which the Master would fill with his inspiration. That man would be like a pure vessel on my table, overflowing with the wine of life, so that those who are languishing might quench their thirst through him. He who is thus prepared will convince the one to whom he speaks, he will comfort with his words, he will silence the vain, he will accomplish amazing works of that kind which the world calls miracles and which are no more than the natural effects of the love and faith of a generous Spirit.

15. If someone asks you, "Why has God, though he is so great, made use of an insignificant human being to reveal his wisdom?" you shall answer, "God's love for his children has no limits, therefore he has made use of them to perform this miracle.

16. Since I am mighty, eternal, infinite, and at the same time Father of all created things, I can avail myself of all my creatures for my divine purposes. In my Father love I do not care for your immaturity, for your sin, and turn to you because of your humility. If you consider your human form to be too insignificant for God to deal with you - who gave you this form, if not I? Besides - was I not the same to you when I became man?

17. The sound of the voice reaching your ears is that of the body, which makes me audible as a voice bearer during the brief moments of my rallies The Word that reaches your mind and heart is human, but the meaning of this Word is divine, and therefore it enlightens and strengthens the Spirit.

18. If I had come in human form to repeat my teaching of the Second Age, your Spirit would not have progressed, and mankind would not have recognized me. But I, the Master of all perfection, am gradually leading you further and further up the mountain, giving you new teachings each time.

19. God is invisible to man's eyes, and even his own Spirit, because he has neither form nor limits. Therefore many doubt this when they see you raised up in prayer and hear me, because they do not know that the divine and the spiritual, although invisible to human eyes, are felt by the Spirit and also by the heart.

20. He who truly believes in me knows my voice wherever I speak to him. I am like a shepherd whom his sheep follow, and whom they always recognize by his voice. That is why you have recognized the voice of your Lord in this time in which I speak to you through the human organ of understanding. You have not bothered to judge the defects of the voice bearer, nor have you bumped into the faults that his lack of education makes him commit. You have understood that it is I who speak to you. When you heard my voice, you immediately recognized it and said, "It is he!

21. It has always been the humble and the poor who discover my presence because their minds are not occupied with human theories that cloud clear judgment.

22. In the Second Age it likewise happened that, although the coming of the Messiah was announced, only men of simple mind, of humble spirit and clear intellect emotionally recognized him when he came.

23. The theologians had in their hands the book of the prophets, and daily they repeated the words announcing the signs, the time, and the manner of the coming of the Messiah; and yet - they saw me and did not recognize me, they listened to me and denied that I was the promised Savior. They saw my works, and the only thing they did was to be indignant about them, though in truth they had all been prophesied.

24. When the day came when the crowd, stirred up by those who were disturbed by the presence of Jesus, saw him wounded and scourged and, as a result of the blows, bleeding like an ordinary mortal and later struggling with death and dying like any other human being, the Pharisees, the superiors of the people and the priests cried out with satisfaction, "Look at him who calls himself the Son of God, who thought he was a king and pretended to be the Messiah!

25. It was precisely for them, more than for others, that Jesus asked his Father to forgive them - who, though they knew the Scriptures, now denied him and presented him as an impostor to the crowd. It was they who, despite their claim to be teachers of the law, did not really know what they were doing when Jesus was condemned, while there were hearts among the crowd that were torn apart by pain in the face of the injustice they witnessed, and faces that were streaming with tears in the face of the sacrificial death of the righteous man. It was the men and women of simple mind and humble and generous Spirit who knew who had been among men in the world and understood what they had lost in the passing of the Master.

26. People, also in this time the form of the communication in which you received my word will be judged badly; and also the teaching and revelations which I have given you will be rejected by those who claim to know the manner in which my return must take place. These will not earnestly investigate my word, nor will they search for its essence, nor will they consider the miracles and signs I have given you of my coming and of my truth, but they will give as reason for denying me the imperfect works they discover in this community, their profanations and their disobedience. Then they will stand up and say, "He who told you that he would not give himself to you after 1950, shall he be the Spirit of Christ? Can he say 'today' that this rallies will end and 'tomorrow' proclaim the opposite? For already now I tell you that many will claim that I will continue to manifest myself in the same way when the year 1950 is over. O beloved people: do you want to be the reason why tomorrow the world will mock you in this way and deny all that I have spoken to you?

27. See how I am preparing you so that when the time of my parting comes, you will not allow darkness to enter into your hearts But I tell you that those who have truly felt and understood My Word will keep away from the ways of confusion to seek Me in solitude from Spirit to Spirit. These will hear in their heart the unforgettable and familiar voice of their Master, who tells them: "Bless you who shed tears when you see the profanation of my work, for you understand that this is the reason why many do not know it and that others mock and deny it.

28. Watch and pray, disciples, so that you may continue to recognize my voice among all the deceitful ones that the world brings to you, and so that you may see yourselves guided and guarded with love until the end of the way, where the Father's home opens like a sheepfold of infinite size, to save forever those whom he has created and sent out with love, so that their merits on earth may make them worthy of the perfect home.

29. Whenever I tell you that it is Christ who speaks to you, there is always someone who considers those who transmit My Word to be blasphemers. But this way of judging and judging is not surprising, considering that their insensitivity to the spiritual prevents them from feeling me through the essence of my teaching.

30. On one particular occasion I said to the Pharisees, "The Father and I are one," and they called me a blasphemer, too, and took recourse to the Scriptures and tried to prove that everything I said was wrong.

31. Today I tell you that whoever does not open the eyes of his Spirit cannot see the divine light, for no one has been tested as Jesus was tested.

32. People interrogated me, made snares at me, tried to confuse me with their insidious questions, switched me to test my level-headedness; and since, despite their efforts, they found no way to destroy me, they accused me, slandered and judged me to see how he who called himself the Son of God behaved in this case. But not satisfied with all this, they also wanted to see if my body would bleed, if it was made of flesh and bones, and when Jesus collapsed and bled on the way of the cross, they pricked up their ears expecting to hear my complaints.

33. When I said that the Father and I were one, the Spirit spoke. But when the body was bleeding, it was the human part that uttered the lamentation because it was living flesh.

34. The world demanded of me that I show it my truth, and I showed it the truth, but with seeing eyes it did not see My word and my works should have been enough to prove the divine power of him who had done them.

Yet that power was not attributed to them. But my death as a man was not the end of those trials. I was in spiritual form with my disciples. Even among them there was one who put me to the test and who did not believe in the resurrection of his Lord until he convinced himself of it by putting his fingers into the wound at his side.

35. After this, as the seed of the word of Jesus spread from province to province and from nation to nation, the unbelievers, doubters, and materialists appeared everywhere, and subjected my teaching, my words, and my works to their reasoning. But men did not limit themselves to judging my truth only by my works and teaching, but they strove to investigate my human nature, my career, my birth, my childhood and all the steps I took on earth. - Not even Mary, the holy and pure woman, chosen by God to give the world the fruit of life, escaped this investigation. She too experienced the mockery, the condemnations and trials of men. It was not enough for them that the prophet Isaiah had proclaimed her already in past times as virgin and pure. And even today, people in churches and sects still discuss and counsel about her.

36. I say to you that as long as mankind does not give up its materialism, it will not be able to look them in the face when judging the truth.

37. I forgive the one as well as the other, but I advise you to no longer use my words to confuse, hurt or kill (morally) one another, for your judgment will then be great.

38. If you further intensify your quarrels and finally detest each other because of your different opinions - when will you then unite in truth, which is one?

39. Fear nothing of me, fear yourselves, says the Master to you. Do I condemn from the cross those who sacrificed me? In that infinitely sorrowful hour did Mary have reproaches and accusations? - No, my people.

40. Neither do I judge you now. Verily, I say to you, each one makes his own judgment and pronounces his own judgment. I want to free you from pain, from atonement, from the bitter cup, and that is why I call upon you to cleanse your hearts from unclean feelings and to begin to love one another, for this is the way that can lead you to light, peace and truth.

41. If you still think that your sufferings are due to your first parents, you are committing an error in the understanding of your God in your judgements

42. In a divine parable, I inspired the first men that they might have a first knowledge of their destiny, but the meaning of my revelations was misinterpreted. When they spoke to you of the tree of life, the knowledge of good and evil, from which man ate, they only wanted to make you understand that when man possessed enough knowledge to distinguish between right and wrong and became responsible for his deeds, he began from then on to reap the fruits of his works.

43. Many people believed that all the tears of this world were caused by the sin of the first inhabitants of the earth. In their inability to interpret the parable, they finally said that Christ came to wash away all stains with His blood. If this assertion would have been correct - why do people continue to sin and suffer even though that sacrifice has already been performed?

44. Jesus came to earth to teach people the way to perfection-a way He showed with His life, His deeds, and His words.

45. You know that God said to men, "Grow and multiply and fill the earth. This was the initial law that was given to you, O people. Later the Father not only urged men to multiply, and that the human race should continue to grow, but that their feelings should become more and more generous, and that their Spirit should unfold and develop unhindered. But if the purpose of the first law was the expansion of the human race - how can you suppose that the same Father would punish you because you obeyed and fulfilled a commandment of his? Is it possible, people, that such a contradiction exists in your God?

46. Behold what material interpretation men gave to a parable in which there was spoken to you only of the awakening of the Spirit in man. Therefore, establish my teaching and no longer say that you pay the debt which the first inhabitants of the earth incurred through their disobedience to your Father. Have a higher conception of divine justice.

47. I have told you that even the last stain will be wiped away from the heart of man, but I also tell you that everyone must wash away his own stains of shame. Remember that I told you, "With the cubit with which you measure you shall be measured," and "What you sow you must reap.

48. Now is the time when you can understand my words of old, "Grow and multiply", that this must also be done spiritually, and that you are to fill the universe with your good works and lightful thoughts.

49. I welcome all who desire to come nearer to me, all who strive for perfection.

50. Rest from your earthly toil, my children, and return to your innermost being where the temple is, and meditate on my word.

51. I have ordained you to spread on earth the good which is true spirituality.

52. Do you feel too incompetent and insignificant? Do you consider yourselves too unclean to be able to load a task of this kind on your soul? The reason for this is that you do not know my wisdom and my mercy, that you do not observe with unclouded senses the teaching examples I give you at every step through nature.

53. Do you not see how the rays of the sun, illuminating everything, reach even the most polluted puddle, evaporate it, lift it up into the atmosphere, purify it and finally turn it into a cloud that passes over the land and makes it fertile?

54. You sometimes tell me: "Master, how is it that you have turned your eyes toward this humanity, when there are no longer any patriarchs, any righteous, and no men who can be your apostles? Do you not see that we live in a world full of dirt and sin?" To this I answer you that My Power causes lilies to sprout, even in the midst of mud, from which no one would suppose that a flower of such wonderful purity would sprout.

55. let the sun of My Word enter into your being so that it may purify you and lift you up and you may hasten to make the heart of your fellow men fertile

56. In the midst of this life full of sin and corruption which mankind lives, let the purity of your works and the sincerity of your prayers sprout, and verily I tell you, your Spirit need not then in any way envy the lilies.

57. I will speak in this form only for a short period of time - a time to be taken advantage of, just as the field plants take advantage of the favourable season to grow, blossom and bear fruit.

58. Verily, verily, I say to you, there is more love in repentant sinners than in those who have always thought themselves good. Thus will I continue to speak, and sinners will continue to repent of their transgressions and multiply the number of converts.

59. The sinner's heart is more receptive to the love touch of my word, because there are many people who have sinned because they lacked love in their lives. When they heard my Father's voice calling them, forgiving them, healing their wounds, and understanding them as no one on earth understood them, they soon felt the divine touch on the most sensitive strings of their being and experienced their Master's perseverance towards them.

60. So many people go through the world seeking a word or a redeeming light, a consolation for their suffering. They seek someone who is lenient with them, who does not point out their faults, who speaks to them of a better life. But they do not find him in the world, and then they close themselves up, withdraw and no longer entrust their secrets to anyone.

61. Those hearts are opened only by the key of love which I possess and which I entrust precisely to all those who open their hearts and say to me, "Master, I will follow You.

62. From the bottom of the hearts of the audience this question arises: "Are you the Messiah? But I only say to you: Hear my word, grasp its meaning and seek its essence.

63. I speak the truth, teach the way, reveal reincarnation, which is law, so that the soul may perfect itself and reach the goal of its destiny. Do you doubt it? Verily, I tell you, the truth does not change in the least through your doubts. It always remains the same.

64. I tell you, never deny because of the mere fact that you do not understand. Remember: If only the truth were what your poor mind understands, nothing would exist.

65. Some people tell me: "Master, if you know everything, if you know the creatures before they are - did you know then that Judas would betray you? O you clumsy rationalists who ask such questions in these times! I, who know all things, chose him precisely for this purpose, because I knew that that man could not act otherwise; and it was absolutely necessary to make use of every single imperfection of my disciples to give a teaching example.

66. The disciple who betrayed his Master is a symbol, an open book that exists in every human consciousness*, so that you may understand its meaning and hear its teachings.

* See footnote at 145, 62

67. Know that in every man dwells a Judas Yes, disciples, for in your case the body of the Judas is the Spirit; it is the body that resists the light of spiritualization, that lies in wait for the Spirit to fall into materialism, into base passions.

68. But because your body brings you to the edge of the abyss, you shall not condemn it. No, because you need it for your progress and are to overcome it through your spiritualization, as I overcame Judas through my love.

69. I see that you doubt the power of love, that you doubt the power of faith; that you doubt the rallies of my Spirit through the human organ of understanding; that you yourselves doubt your gifts and abilities which you are not yet developing. What can you do with so much doubt? What wonders can you experience? - None.

70. You are so stubborn in your skepticism and so strong in your doubt that you do not allow the spiritual light with its rays to reach deeper areas of your consciousness. But if you spiritualize yourselves, if you live life in accordance with my teachings and according to my will, you will see rising from your being the abilities you have denied and the spiritual gifts you never thought you had.

71. Then, when you are spiritualized and purity and gentleness prevail in your hearts, you will experience how all the elements of nature are well-disposed towards you and obey you, because your spiritualization brought you in harmony with them

72. When you possess spirituality, you will no longer say, "Father, give me food, give me intelligence, give me material wealth. Still less will you fall into the error of saying to him, "Father, if you give me what I ask of you, I will give you of what I have - what you ask of me.

73. Do you not think, disciples, that this way of asking is tantamount to tempting your father? Do you think that I can give you more and better if you give me something? If you tell me that I should ask you for what you have, what would become of you if, in order to grant your petitions, I deprived you of what you love most in the world? Would you withstand such a test?

74. No, disciples, it is time for you to let your conscience guide all your actions and thoughts.

75. Let your faith speak, and heaven will answer you.

76. The divine Spirit was full of love, though he existed alone.

77. Nothing had yet been created, nothing existed around the divine being, and yet he loved and felt himself a Father.

78. Whom did he love? Whose father did he feel? It was all beings and all creatures that would come forth from him, and whose power rested hidden in his Spirit. In that Spirit were all sciences, all forces of nature, all entities, all foundations of creation. He was eternity and time. In him was the past, the present and the future, even before the worlds and beings came to life.

79. That divine inspiration became reality under the infinite power of divine love, and life began.

80. The universe was filled with beings, and in all of them the love, power, and wisdom of the Father was manifested.

81. Like an inexhaustible source of life, the womb of the Lord was from that moment when he decided that the atoms should unite to form bodies and form beings.

82. First existed the spiritual life, first were the spiritual beings and only then the material nature.

83. When it was decided that many spiritual creatures had to take physical form in order to live on material worlds, everything was first prepared so that the children of the Lord would find everything ready for them.

84. He showered with blessings the way his children would have to go, flooded the universe with life and filled with beauty the way of man, in which he placed a divine spark: the Conscience, the Spirit, thus created out of love, out of intelligence, out of power, out of will and out of consciousness. But everything that existed he wrapped in his power and showed him his destiny.

85. The Father remained there as the origin of all that exists, and since the way to development and perfection was offered to the universe, he remained in expectation of the return of all his children, so that they too would find in him their goal, which would be the perfection of the soul and eternity.

86. This way, predetermined for every kingdom of nature, every creature and every species, was the law which the Creator imprinted indelibly in his children.

87. Since then all things have woven and lived for the purpose for which they were created; since then all things have moved toward perfection, and have circled unceasingly around one commandment, one principle, and one law.

88. The Father, like a sower, used the elements of life that were in him as if they were earth, and in this he placed the seed of life that springs from his love, only to await the day when he can reap such a perfect fruit as the seed and as inspiration was.

89. The scientists of this time are overwhelmed when they discover that the world has more life span than the former scientists were entitled to; and when they think that the earth is a perishing star, which is close to extinction, then I tell them that the earth has still lived so little that it is still far from that stage of development to be able to accommodate the generations of grace and spiritualization.

My peace be with you!
