Teaching 286

1 My divine light shines everywhere; wherever you seek me, you will find my presence.

2 I am the Father who works so that harmony may begin to reign among all his children - both among those who inhabit the earth and those who live on other worlds.

3 The spiritual harmony among all beings will reveal great knowledge to them, will bring them the dialogue from spirit to spirit, which will shorten distances, bring the absent nearer and eliminate fronts and boundaries.

4 I want you to achieve peace, which is the greatest reward you can seek on earth.

5 Disciples, do not deviate from the way laid out and do not change my teachings in any way, because then you will not be able to attain that spiritual harmony, nor discover all that I have in store for your upliftment.

6 Make yourselves worthy of the revelations of my secret treasury, by acquiring merit with works of love, mercy, and nobility.

7 Let the Spirit guide the mind, and let the mind, guided only by a heart longing for human greatness, not rule your life. Consider this: If you want to let yourselves be determined by what your brain commands, you will overtax it and not go beyond what its small powers allow it to do. I tell you: If you want to know why you felt inspired to do good and why your heart is inflamed by charity, allow your heart and your powers of mind to be guided by the spirit. Then you will be amazed at the power of your Father.

8 If, instead of with so much ambition and with so little respect, men would question me with love and humility - with what simplicity and ease they would receive their father's answer when he reveals to them the knowledge they ask him for

9 When you question Me or ask Me, do not exert yourselves in trying to explain your problem clearly to Me, nor do you make any effort to search in your mind for the best formulated sentences. It is enough for me if your mind detaches itself from the world at this moment and heart and mind are pure so that they can receive my inspiration. What good is it for you to say wonderful words to me if you are not able to feel my presence within you?

10 I know everything, and you need not explain anything to me so that I can understand you.

11 You ask me what prayer consists in, and I answer you: to allow your spirit to freely ascend to the Father; to surrender to that act with complete trust and faith; to receive in heart and mind the impressions received by the spirit; to affirm with true humility the Father's will. Those who pray in this way enjoy my presence at every moment of their lives and never feel needy.

12 Many times in the course of time I have approached men, but now it is time that men seek me and approach me. They can do so because their spiritual development has enabled them to reach true communion with their Father.

13 A time of resurrection is this "Third Age". The souls resembled the dead and the bodies resembled their burial caves. But the Master came to them, whose word of life told them, "Come out and rise up to the light, to freedom! Whoever of them opens his eyes to the truth and then is able to raise his life, his works and his feelings in love for his fellow men, will no longer regard this world as a place of banishment or a valley of tears and atonement, because he will feel more and more the bliss of true peace, which the peace of souls gives. That state of elation in this life will be a reflection of the perfect peace and light, which the soul will enjoy in better worlds, where I myself will receive it to give it a home worthy of its merits.

14 On this day of grace you remember the day when Elias made himself known through Roque Rojas, reminding you that the return of the Divine Master was near, and calling you to prayer and renewal.

15 Moses brought his people to the foot of Mount Sinai, where he made them pray, fast and be purified, to await the presence of Jehovah his Lord.

16 Moses was the initiator of spiritualization, the forerunner of Jehovah, the legislator. That day when he came down from the mountain with the tablets of the law was remembered by the people of Israel, as you do now when you remember the day when it was revealed to you through Roque Rojas, that the testament of Moses, the legacy of Jesus, and the message of Elijah would form one book: the book of truth and life.

17 Just as Moses prepared the heart of his people to receive Jehovah, and today Elijah has awakened you to hear the voice of the Divine Spirit, so it was Elijah--who reincarnated in John, called the Baptist--who exhorted the crowds to repentance and prayer, announcing to them that the kingdom of heaven was drawing near. For in the teaching which I brought you and in my instruction was the presence of the Father and the light of the heavens.

18 Christ is the manifestation of the perfect, in Him you can see the eternal law, you can find the infinite love and admire the absolute wisdom.

19 Jesus made clear with his life the law which Israel received from Moses, and gave you word that later the Comforter would come to make clear and explain all that Christ taught, and that which was not interpreted correctly.

20 Christ encompasses all ages, his presence exists at all times, because he is "the Eternal Word.

21 Elijah is the forerunner, the explicator of the secrets; he is the key that opens the door so that you may enter into the deep. He is the spiritual liberator sent in the time of the completion of the spiritualization of mankind, which was begun by Moses.

22 Bless you, people. You remember with rejoicing the dawn of the Third Age and dedicate this day to its commemoration. More than a tradition - be this day for you a day of reflection, of study, of inner gathering, in which you can feel the presence of that divine balance that weighs and registers all your works along all the paths you have travelled.

23 Out of what you hear from me this day and what you are to think about, you can form a treasure of knowledge. When then the time of your struggle comes, you will lack neither arguments nor reasons to explain what are the firm and eternal foundations on which this teaching, which you have called spiritualism, has been built.

24 You see the dawn of the Third Age, when spiritual clarity shines intensely and transforms your lives.

25 The beginning of this new time will be marked by its great struggles, by its fierce sufferings, by its confusions and disputes. But all this will be only at the beginning. Peace will come later, and as a result of peace will come the unfolding of the soul, which will reveal its upward development in its works full of faith, love, and spiritualization.

26 Many of you come near crying after cursing the pain. I forgive your faults, considering that they stem from your ignorance.

27 Calm your heart and make your mind receptive so that you may understand what I am now telling you, child pupils of life: when you feel again that your heart is pierced by pain, separate yourselves for a short time from everything that surrounds you and remain alone There, in the intimacy of your bedroom, speak to your soul, take your pain and explore it as if you were picking up any object to examine it. In this way, explore your grief, recognize where it came from and why it came. Listen to the voice of your spirit, and verily I tell you, you will draw from that contemplation a treasure of light and peace for your heart.

28 The light will tell you the way to remove pain, and peace will give you the strength to endure until the trial is over.

29 You will then experience how, when you turn your thoughts to me to pray, you will say to me, "Master, forgive me, injustice is not due to my fate, I am unjust to myself.

30 This is a teaching of which you must always be aware, disciples - knowing that this is the way of conduct by which you can raise reason to the height of the spirit. For it is only the spirit that knows the real situation of the soul and human reality.

31 I instruct you to study you in order to know you, to discover in the core of your being, through meditation and prayer, the great lessons of life.

32 Today many curse pain, but tomorrow they will bless him as a teacher who taught them high and beautiful lessons.

33 I wish that it would always be the love of the Master that would teach you the way and the meaning of life. But you have preferred that it be the pain that teaches you. Soon you will leave this bitter teacher behind to accept the lessons of one who teaches you with loving tenderness.

34 If ye cannot get rid of your pain for the time being, bear it with patience. Do not miss his teachings, love him, for he will cleanse your stains of shame and make you great in faith, in virtue, and in patience.

35 If you believe in my word, you must also believe in the lesson in which I told you, "No leaf of the tree moves without the will of God. Then you will also be able to believe that the wisdom of God has considered everything well and that there can be no suffering that does not leave a wise lesson in man.

36 Think carefully, beloved people, so that you may no longer stumble continually, and the events of the future may not find you immersed in lethargy.

37 In the time when you no longer live on second-hand assumptions and truths, so that you rise to the world of reality, your soul, though your feet still walk on the dust of a world of tears and pain, will dwell in a kingdom of peace.

38 To you, people who hear Me, I say that you should be happy if you compare your situation and your life with that of those nations bleeding to death in the fratricidal war

39 Ye have affections, ye lack not bread, ye lack not a roof, ye have the food of my word, and are not satisfied. But those who have no bread, who lack everything and do not hear my word, who do not have the consolation of hearing my sayings, who have hope and balm, who encourage and encourage, are more devoted than you.

40 Learn to bless your pain as if it were your pleasure. Bless everything.

41 Do I not bless all mankind without favouring anyone? From that "mantle" of blessing are surrounded both the good and meek, and the haughty and the criminal. Why do you not take Me as your model? Do you feel revulsion at the actions of others? Do not forget that you are a part of humanity, that you love it and forgive it, but do not reject it, for this would be like feeling disgust with yourself. Everything that you see in your neighbor, you yourselves have to a greater or lesser degree. Therefore, I want you to learn to fathom your inner being, so that you may get to know your spiritual and moral face. In this way you will know how to judge yourselves and have the right to look at others, too.

42 Seek not to be faulty with your fellow men; with those whom you have, it is enough.

43 Do not be offended, when I speak to you in this way, understand that my teaching words are not intended for the righteous nor for saints, to them I would speak in a very different way I give you my saving teaching to save sinners and give it through sinful lips.

44 I come to save you, mankind, because even the air you breathe is sick. But I tell this earth what dwelling and shelter has been for my children, that if these have belittled them through their transgressions, they themselves will have to make amends for the last sin against it.

45 Recognize that mankind needs great instruction to be able to triumph over all the trials that afflict them. Now is the great time, announced by prophets and seen by seers, in which the pain of men will reach its climax, and in which the mercy of the Father would let its light overflow onto all men - the time that would indicate the end of evil and the beginning of good on earth.

46 O people! When will you be ready to bring the healing balm and the message of peace to those who are suffering? still I do not discover in your heart true charity, still you condemn each other at every turn because you do not love one another

47 Do you not believe that if I wanted it, I could show each of you his faults? But I also tell you that I would no longer be your master if I would expose you in this way. But if, however, He who knows everything, who really knows you, who knows your thoughts, does not judge you in the presence of others, nor exposes you publicly - why then are there those who stubbornly insist on wounding hearts, destroying feelings of happiness, and judging foreign lives?

48 Ttoday you are still my disciples of children, and indeed, I tell you, I will not call you disciples nor entrust you with my work until you are no longer able to cause suffering to your neighbour and feel instead the impulse to alleviate every pain When will you finally feel in your heart the pain of those who suffer, so that it is your words and your works that dry their tears? You are still too immature for active charity. Your compassion is not great and neither is your forgiveness.

49 If you have once pity on a paralytic who is lying in the gutter, and you feel obliged to take him into your house, you first search his life, because you say that you do not know who he is

Are you the ones who have constantly heard my teaching words? Then you must be aware that I, without looking at your stigma, have only sought your wounds to heal them with my love. If you have the desire to be among my sowers, you must know and possess the power inherent in goodness. The power that mercy contains, and the miracles that the heart performs, consist only in feeling or sharing the suffering of others.

50 Beloved disciples: The instruction you receive from Me has become clearer and clearer for you from lesson to lesson. This light began to manifest itself in sparks of light in 1866. But now, in the last years of my teaching, it is not sparks that reach you, but the light in its fullness.

With the year 1950 the manifestation of my word will end in this form, but the directive will continue. For after that, when you immerse yourselves in my work, you will discover the divine essence of which I have spoken to you so often, and you will enjoy its taste.

51 I want not only that you testify that you have heard Me, but that you become my prophets, indicating a time of spiritualization with your fulfillment of the commission Then the generations of the future will follow in your footsteps of love and good will, and with firm steps will tread a safe path.

52 You are currently encountering thorny bushes on your way and will encounter even more obstacles and thorns. But your love of neighbor shall not let you stray from the path, so that the multitudes of tomorrow will find the way clean.

53 You know that the good, the light, the truth, have at all times met with resistance in the hearts of men. Nevertheless trust me, I have often told you that darkness will not prevail because it will be the light that triumphs.

54 Mankind is purifying itself at this time, its cup of suffering will wash it clean from its shame, so that it may come forth pure from its atonement. For the spiritual kingdom of peace and justice is drawing nearer to men.

55 See ye not how little by little the fetters of fanaticism and idolatry, which bind men, are loosed? The reason for this is that I have come to set them free. Later my light will reach men in the form of the Word, and you will see how it will make them tremble in spite of its simplicity and simplicity, and how it will have the power in its loving way to shake hearts of stone until it makes them shed the crystal clear water of repentance, forgiveness and love.

56 Weep not, disciples, nor will you hear me for a few more days, nor will a few more drops of honey fall on your sufferings, which my word sheds. Meanwhile, prepare yourselves so that after my departure you may feel my presence.

57 It is now the time of reflection, in which you must watch and pray, paying attention to the voice of God.

58 Sometimes you ask Me, "Lord, who could awaken all mankind to lift up their spirit to You and feel Your presence? But I say to you, "Do not worry, my spirit is already haunting her so that she may awaken. You cannot fully realize my works, therefore you have not discovered that awakening which only I see.

59 All await the light of a new day, the dawn of peace, which shall be the beginning of a better age. The oppressed await the day of their liberation, the sick hope for a cure that will give them back health, strength and joy of life.

60 Blessed are those who know how to wait until the last moment, for what they have lost will be returned to them with interest. I bless this expectation because it is proof of faith in me.

61 Today you do not understand many of my words, but the time will come when the light rises in your minds and you understand the meaning of each of my teachings.

62 My apostles in the second time did not understand many of my words the moment they heard them. Nevertheless, after my parting, when they devoted themselves to study and reflection, they felt the divine light rising in their minds, and saw with supreme clarity all that had been an impenetrable mystery to them until then.

63 Up to now, when you have heard me, you have grasped my word only superficially. And what have you found in him? Comfort, balm, caress. Later, when your ulcers and wounds are healed and you, instead of craving my balm for your pains, seek wisdom to comfort your neighbor, you will have begun to penetrate the meaning of my teachings.

64 I see that you pray for the world, and I receive from your heart the intercession. The day will come when you will not only pray for those peoples, but also seek them out to bring them the loving message of my word.
