Teaching 169:

1. My gaze penetrates your heart. Let it be in you like wheat in fertile soil. If I were to judge you at this moment, I would tell you that your implements for tilling the fields are rusted by inactivity, that the weapons lie around abandoned, that you have hidden the seed and have dried up the springs of living water.

2. But today I will only receive your sorrows. You complain and suffer and attribute all your pain to my righteousness and do not realize that you are responsible for your stumbling. For instead of rising to the fight with zeal, you have sat back and slept in the shade of the mighty tree.

3. It grieves you that the Father speaks to you in this way. But why are you ashamed? Have you lacked teaching? Have you not had the Master among you? Only when you hear my reproaches do you allow your conscience to speak to you about the failures you have committed, and only then do you remember that you did not succeed in uniting among yourselves as the Father commanded you. Remember that the great wars are yet to come, and that, unless you sow my seed of love and mercy to achieve peace among your fellow men, a door would be open through which war, pestilence, hunger, and death would enter.

4. I have told you that I have not come to you as a judge, although I could judge you. Why then do you take my place as a judge to judge the deeds of your fellow men? Do you think that you are perfect and infallible?

5. Do not violate my law, misinterpret my teachings, do not do your will.

6. Verily I say to you: If I treat you men with so much love and mercy, I turn with the same caring love also to those who atone for their former transgressions in the Hereafter. I send my light to these beings to liberate them from their distraction, which is like darkness, and from their self-accusations, which are the "fire," to send them among men afterwards, so that those who formerly sowed pain in their hearts may now, provided with light of knowledge, become benefactors and protectors of their own brethren.

7. The law that guided you in the first time and the blood that taught you the way of reparation in the second time are the light that lifts you all up in this third time, in which my voice, through your conscience, turns men away from the way of blindness. I must tell you that I see all mankind walking in the way of blindness!

8. When the learned learn these words, they will feel offended, and those who pretend to be pure Spirit will also protest. But I will prove to some as well as to others and to all that humanity today has lost its way on a path where only insecurity and fear reign, which are the seeds of delusion.

9. Is there inner peace and quiet in any people on earth or in any human being? Have men founded their confidence in the victory of good and justice over evil? Do the peoples of the earth have a sure way to save themselves morally, mentally and physically from the destruction that threatens humanity? No, people, people do not know where they are going, nor what they want. The hatred that springs from a lack of spiritualization and ignorance of the law, the mutual fear, the ambition to want to be superior to others, the permissiveness given to the lower passions, and the lack of truthfulness in the fulfillment of the divine laws have led humanity on a dark path, where everything is a portent of evil, and where there is neither hope nor faith and much less charity.

10. Many people have become so accustomed to the world of sins and suffering in which you live that they think that this life is the most natural, that the earth is destined to be a valley of tears, and that it will never be able to accommodate peace, harmony, and spiritual progress.

11. Those who think so are caught in the sleep of ignorance. It is wrong who thinks that this world was destined by me to be a valley of tears and atonement. The Eden that I offered to men can and should return, for all that I have created is life and love. Therefore, anyone who claims that the world was ordained by God as a place of human pain is mistaken. Instead, they should say that they themselves condemned it to a judgment mission, whereas it was actually created for the joy and refreshment of the incarnate Spirits.

12. No one was predestined for sin, although everything was foreseen to save man from his downfall.

13. Man did not want to ascend through love, neither did he want to become wise by fulfilling my law; and he forgot that my righteousness, which he always tried to avoid, protects him, because my righteousness springs from perfect love.

14. This earth, desecrated by sin, defiled by crime and defiled by greed and hatred, will have to regain its purity. Human life, which has been a ceaseless struggle between good and evil, will become the home of the children of God, a home of peace, brotherhood, understanding and noble aspirations. But to achieve this ideal, men must go through the trials that will shake them out of their spiritual lethargy.

15. The present time is favorable for self-reflection, although you think the opposite, since you feel yourselves prisoners in a humanity without mercy, without love, without peace. But the more you approach the climax of the battle, the stronger your awakening will be; for the foreboding of the Spirit will tell you that after the trial peace will come and with it the restoration.

16. How far from reality there are at present millions of beings who live only for their material presence! How could they open their eyes to reality? - Only by listening to the voice of conscience - the voice that needs gathering, reflection and prayer to be heard.

17. Do not be impatient, beloved people, do not demand that my words be fulfilled within a few hours. Some of them will soon become reality, and others in time.

18. For human beings, especially when they experience hours of pain, there are moments that seem like centuries to them, because they do not know how to arm themselves with hope, faith, patience and gentleness. But when they rise up to me to receive light, these virtues will give them strength to hope and fight, and also sweeten their difficult hours.

19. You are going through difficult times, in which the progress you have made in your Spirit is put to the test. In Spirit - I have told you ─, because he is the only one who can sustain you on your arduous life journey.

20. Do not rely only on your human strength, for the flesh is fragile. But do so with regard to the strength of the Spirit, who prays to me and is imbued with faith. Then you will be able to trust that you will stand in the fight.

21. My love covers you like a protective cloak in the hours of pain and judgment you are going through, and my mercy makes you understand that the cup you drink is necessary.

22. I will remove that cup and turn it into wine of eternal life for you as soon as you can show me your merits.

23. You will have attained the necessary equipment to make known my teaching as a master, when you have been able to find yourselves. You will then hear the voice of conscience and the mask that covers all evil will fall from you.

24. Seek the salvation of the soul, even at the cost of your material possessions, for the more you lose for this reason, the more you will have after. The more you give, the more the gifts will increase in your Spirit. Verily, I tell you, when selfishness finds no more place in your heart, you will be masters, and my love will receive you and say, "Your Father gladly receives you and offers you the spiritual bread. Verily, I have called you from everywhere, for the sound of the divine bell has been heard throughout the world. But there were only few who followed the call.

25. Do you understand, people, that I have called you to give you the bread of eternal life to eat?

26. You have all been assigned your place at the spiritual banquet, but the Master sees that there are still empty places. They are those of those who have not accepted my invitation. They scorned the food I had prepared for them. With pain I tell you: "He who spurns what heaven offers him must later shed tears. These words were also heard by one of my servants who received the instruction to set out to bring to Me every hungry person he met. I will then sit him at my table, and those who did not even suspect nor expect such a great grace will then take the empty seats and be more blessed than those who call themselves my chosen ones.

27. I will continue to summon men, and also those beings who belong to the hereafter, so that the disembodied may sit at my table together with the incarnate; for they are all my children.

28. Disciples: When my word comes to you and you do not understand it, you doubt it. But I tell you: If uncertainty torments you, withdraw into the solitude of the fields and there, in the midst of nature, where you have only the open fields, the mountains and the firmament as witnesses, question your Master once more. Deepen yourselves in his word, and quickly his loving answer will reach you. Then you will feel carried, inspired, filled with an unknown spiritual bliss. In this way, you will no longer be small-believers, because you know that every word contains the truth of God, but in order to open it up, one must penetrate it with devotion and sincerity, because it is a sanctuary.

29. Whenever you are prepared and want to know something, your desire for light will attract the divine light. How many times have I told you: Go to the mountain solitude and tell me there your worries, your sufferings and needs!

30. Jesus taught you these lessons in the Second Time with His example. Remember my example when I withdrew into the desert to pray before I began my ministry. Remember that in the last days of my being among men, even before I went to the synagogue to pray, I went to the solitude of the Mount of Olives to speak with the Father. - Nature is a temple of the Creator, where everything rises to worship Him. There you can receive directly and unadulterated the radiation of your Father.

31. There, far from human selfishness and materialism, you will feel how wise inspirations penetrate your heart, inspiring you to do good in your way.

32. These rallies which I am giving you at present through the human organ of mind will come to an end in the year 1950. That irrevocable time will come. But what does it mean that you no longer hear my word through the voice bearer when you have learned to rise up inwardly to receive the inspiration directly from the Master?

33. Rise, beloved children, and work according to the example of Jesus.

34. As I make myself known before your eyes through these organs of mind, so shall you receive my inspiration Then you will proclaim in my name the teachings which I inspire you. In this way you will experience that my teaching continues, that my revelation always comes down upon your Spirit. Only the outer form becomes a little different.

35. When you are prepared, you will go to work with humility. For verily I say to you, if there is but a little vanity or pride in your heart, you will not be able to do good work. Whoever wants to preach my teaching must also humbly exercise it. I speak to you in this way so that you may understand what you still lack to do. - You want to devote yourselves fully to spreading my teachings. But how can you teach if the teaching of Jesus is not revealed in your deeds and in your life? Let men recognize my work in your deeds, then the image of the Master will be reflected in the disciple.

36. I tell you that you will feel it when your Spirit is prepared to teach my teaching to your fellow men. For this will be when you have found yourselves. You will then clearly hear the voice of conscience. As long as this does not apply to you, you will not be able to truly feel me.

37. There is no one who does not want to find happiness, and the more lasting it is, the better - for I teach you a way that leads to the highest and eternal happiness. Nevertheless I only show you the way, and then I let you choose the one that pleases you most.

38. I ask you: If you long for happiness - why do you not sow it to reap it afterwards? How few are those who have felt the impulse to be there for men!

39. I speak in a way in which both your Spirit and your earthly nature understand me. But be aware that it is the soul that I want to save, even at the expense of its body. Know that the more you give, the more you will have. Once you reach this level, you will be master. Then your life will be an example, a mirror in which others can see their mistakes and correct their errors.

40. To help you in your preparation - come and hear my divine word.

41. Let your thoughts and senses come to rest so that you may feel my voice in your heart.

42. My word is the way, which is marked out by my will from eternity, so that souls do not wander aimlessly on earth. Verily, I say to you, man must get to know spiritualization to attain the development of his soul.

43. This is the age of the light of the HolySpirit, which is felt inwardly by the developed souls, by those who look beyond outward appearances.

44. Consider the universe and appreciate it in all its perfection and beauty. It was created so that the children of the Lord would be inspired by it and see in it an image of the Father. If you understand creation in this way, you will raise your thinking to my divinity.

45. Your thinking should never be sluggish, should constantly progress, just as the development of the races over the generations knows no stagnation, or human science, which always shows a way forward in the course of time.

46. Seek me with the Spirit, without adhering to customary traditions nor symbolic rites. Seek me in your heart, and you will find me in it, because the heart loves, suffers and feels.

47. If men had not forgotten their hearts when trying to increase their knowledge in science, there would not be so much discord and selfishness, and they would already have discovered the divine spark that you all carry within you, which is why you are all brothers and sisters in me. Men would already fulfill Jesus' basic principle of "loving one another," which would be enough for this world to have peace and light.

48. Today the voice of conscience meets deaf people who, without stopping to listen to it, plunge into murderous wars, destroy nations, destroy elements of life and material forces, without considering that as a result they sow moral and spiritual decomposition, which is even more serious.

49. I must speak to you, men and women, about all these things so that you may be worthy of your task in the work of moral and spiritual restoration at this time. Do not limit yourselves to hearing my word; think carefully about it and put it into practice, for if you do not, it would be a deaf seed.

50. Support the progress of your soul and see to it that it leaves its earthly body full of devotion and exaltation when the moment set by my will comes. Understand that no one comes to me physically, but as a spirit being. When this happens, see to it that you reach the high steps of the ladder to heaven, where there is no more pain or distraction.

51. You are imperfect in your works, not in your origin or creation. But you will eventually attain this perfection through your own merits.

52. You have truly stood before the altar of wisdom, where your Spirit has been abundantly bestowed by my grace.

53. Disciples, when you and I commune from Spirit to Spirit without voice bearers or mediators, and we alone face infinity, you will hear in the innermost part of your being the divine voice that springs from silence to speak to your spirit. - Beyond this silence is the heavenly concert, whose sounds you cannot yet hear, because your hearing can only hear the material sounds.

54. Hear this message with real devotion, for the time will come when you will no longer hear me in this form. But if you remain prepared, you will later receive my word in a more perfect way. You can judge this form of rallies in which you are presently participating as external. But that other which I promise you will be inward, and you will attain it when you spiritualize yourselves still more. Then men will draw nearer to perfect communion when, without intermediaries or witnesses, they will rise to their Father and receive directly from him what they ask for. Then the human Spirit will begin to shine as he has never shone, for in communion with me I will be reflected in him.

55. The rallies of my light through the human mind were made to bring you the basic teachings and lay the foundations for the great enlightenment that is to come. I have also come to relieve you of the burden of the cross that each of you carries in your life - a cross that each of you has created for yourselves and on which you have crucified yourself of your own accord.

56. To many who have brought before my eyes their tribulations and their cup of bitterness, I could say that no one has taken them away to Golgotha; it was they themselves and their own will who sought this cup I could also tell them that the nails, thorns, bile and vinegar will disappear and they will rise to a new and better life, when at the climax of the trial they know how to come to me and call me.

57. When they hear this, some ask me: "Master, when you speak to us of this new life, do you mean that of the hereafter or the existence we have to live on earth? To this I answer you that - when you resurrect to the Light, to Love, to Truth and to Good - you do not need to worry about the place where you will be.

58. I told you in that second time, "My Father's house has many dwellings. - Do you know that every Spirit is a house of God? In every place where there is a conscience the Lord will be.

59. Today you cannot yet imagine what the world will be like when it fully realizes my teaching, when man plucks sin from his heart - I know this well. I know that times will come when man and woman, from child to old man, will all enjoy perfect peace and experience the happiness of living in untroubled bliss here in this world where so many tears and so much blood have been shed. Those people will not want to destroy the harmony with their God for a single moment and, written in their Spirit, will carry with them the essence of my law, with its highest principle of loving one another.

60. Therefore, you who hear me, understand how necessary it is that you prepare yourselves to bring the Good News to your fellow men, so that you no longer withhold from them the bliss that their awakening brings for them. Remember that many of those whom you awaken will accomplish what you were not able to do, and that those who awaken them in turn will accomplish more than what those who brought them the Good News achieved, and so on step by step until the time comes when the people will be great and numerous and the fulfillment of my Word will be visible on earth.

61. I have waited for you to reach spiritual maturity, to tell you: Take the seed and sow it.

62. In the second time I gave you an example of how you must wait for the right hour to fulfill the task that brought you to earth

63. I waited until my body - that Jesus whom men had before their eyes - had reached its best age to fulfill through him the divine mission to teach you love.

64. When that body - the heart and the mind - had reached its full development, my Spirit spoke through his lips, my wisdom flooded his mind, my love settled in his heart, and the harmony between that body and the divine light that illuminated it was so perfect that I often said to the multitudes of men, "He who knows the Son knows the Father.

65. Christ made use of the truth in God to teach men. He did not draw it from the world. Not from the Greeks, Chaldeans, Essenes or Phoenicians - from no one did he draw the light. These did not yet know the way of heaven, and I taught that which was not known on earth.

66. Jesus had dedicated his childhood and youth to active charity and prayer until the hour came to proclaim the Kingdom of Heaven, the law of love and justice, the teaching of light and life.

67. Seek the essence of my word proclaimed at that time and tell me whether it could have come from any human teaching or any science known at that time

68. I tell you, if I had really taken the scholarship of those men, I would have sought my disciples among them, and not among the uneducated and ignorant men from whom I formed my apostle body.

69. You ask me what I can tell you concerning the teachings and philosophies of those peoples, and I tell you that they are inspirations of the Spirit, but not the highest truth I alone possess

70. In this Third Age it has been my will to manifest myself through man, using his Spirit and his mind. But in doing so I made use of the humble, the uneducated and simple minds, taking care that their minds were untouched by sciences and theories. In order to give you my teaching through these unexpressive human lips and to surprise and impress the crowds of listeners, which consist of men of all kinds, you must not believe that I should have first sent the voice-bearers to masters to find armament and wisdom with them - on the contrary, I kept them away from any infection and any influence so that their minds would be uninhibited, pure and free enough to reproduce the divine inspiration before the people. What could they have asked those people (the Masters) about the profound and unknown message that my Spirit now revealed to mankind?

71. This is the reason why I have chosen uneducated and simple men to manifest my teaching through their organ of understanding.

72. The teaching I put in Jesus at that time was perfect in its essence and form. You cannot ascribe any blemish to it, for he who inspired it and he who transmitted it is perfect.

73. Today, as I communicate through these creatures who live very far from perfection, you must pay your attention more to the meaning of the Word than to the outward form of it, since they are human creatures who cannot harmonize with the perfection of the one who inspires them the divine message

74. I am telling you all this because the people already taught, the people who believe in My presence at this rallies, have the duty to collaborate, by their spiritual exaltation, prayer and arming, with the voice bearer who is carrying out such a delicate spiritual mission.

75. Those who do not understand the responsibility of those who carry out this mission will have no loving compassion for them. But those who are understanding will be like faithful helpers who, through their prayer, will contribute to sharing the burden of the cross with their brothers and sisters.

76. When my rallies are finished and you understand all the love I showed you when I manifested myself to you through these creatures, you will have to tell me: "Lord, since you have come down to our misery, our sinfulness and wretchedness, what should we not do to return such a great love? And then you will begin to love and dedicate your lives to those who need love, light and mercy.

77. Those beloved disciples who surrounded me in the Second Age and followed me gave their lives, let their spirit overflow and shed their blood, because they wanted to repay with love the one who had left his throne to live with them and give them the most precious treasure of the Spirit: the truth.
