Teaching 167:

1. From many hearts the question arises to God: "Lord, will the pain that afflicts this world last forever? To this the Master answers them: "No, my beloved children, your pain will disappear as soon as you find true love.

2. Although much is spoken of love on earth, in reality it does not exist among you. Some pretend it, some mistake it for a selfish feeling, and some mistake it for a lower passion. Falseness reigns in the human heart, lies reign; you pretend love, friendship, charity. The weeds have grown and spread everywhere, and only the fire of pain will be able to destroy them.

3. This fire will inflame men with their wars of ideas, creeds, philosophies and sciences. It is the war that is approaching with great strides. There, in this fire, which is kindled by their own lust for power, passions and enmities, they will find their purification. This is the way they have wanted it, this is the way they have demanded it.

4. How would it be possible for men to love each other as brothers and sisters if they have not yet purified their hearts? It takes a great visitation in the world for them to come out of it purified, for pain purifies.

5. Also I say to you: Men must believe in men, must have faith and trust in one another, because you must come to the conviction that you all need one another on earth.

6. Do not think that it pleases me when you say that you believe in me, and I know that you doubt the whole world. For what I expect from you is this, that you love me through the love you show your neighbor and forgive those who hurt you; that you lovingly stand by the poorest, least, or weakest, love your fellow men without distinction, and in all your works let the greatest selflessness and truthfulness prevail.

7. Learn from me, for I have never doubted you, believe in your salvation and trust that you will pull yourselves together to attain true life

8. Even though outwardly there is much falsehood in the works of men, there is not one in whose inside there is not a part of truthfulness. That part is the spark of spiritual light that he carries within him, is my divine presence, the spark of God that illuminates him inwardly. I will cause that this light, which is mine, shines in every heart, and that its reflection is manifested in every one of your works.

9. I want you to live in truth, and for this it is necessary that all evil should die. You who are aware of the hour that is approaching - wake up and pray already today, announce this battle to your fellow men as prophets, so that they may prepare themselves and do not despair in the moments of bitterness during the coming battle.

10. Be convinced that all "fields" will bear fruit when they are prepared My seed is ready to come down on them: Every human being will be a plant that blossoms and gives fruits of love, thus fulfilling the destiny of all created things.

11. In the plant kingdom there are parasitic plants that are useless; do not take them as an example.

12. Do you know why the Father expects only fruits of love from you? - Because the seed of life, which I placed in every creature, the primordial seed, was love.

13. If at times, as is the case with plants, you seem to have dried up, if you withered for a short time or suffered thirst torments, it was not because you lacked the water of my grace. My source of love has always poured out on every Spirit and heart as a life-giving wetness. But these human plants endowed with Spirit have freedom of will, and as a result of the bad use of this precious gift, they move away from that divine grace, which is the only thing that can save and strengthen the soul. How different you are from the plants of the earth, which in their place always devotedly receive what God's mercy gives them!

14. You all think you have already loved in your life, but I tell you: some have truly loved while others have confused passions and selfishness with love

15. Through Jesus I gave you the perfect teaching. Consider my life as a man from birth to death, then love will open up to you in a living and perfect way.

16. I do not ask you to be like Jesus, because there was in him something you cannot achieve: to be perfect as a man, since he who was in him was God himself in limited form. But I tell you nevertheless that you are to emulate him.

17. My eternal law has always spoken to you of this love. I told you in the first times, "You shall love God with all your heart and with all your soul," and "Love your neighbor as yourself.

18. Later I gave you these inspired words: "Love your brothers and sisters as the Father has loved you"; "Love one another.

19. In this time I have revealed to you that you should love God more than all created things, that you should love God in all that exists, and all that exists in God. That you are to show mercy on your fellow man, and again mercy, so that you may see the Father in all his glory, for mercy is love.

20. Man has never been able to love me through spiritual worship, free from unfairness, as he is today. The pagan times and those of the unbelievers are now far away. Idolatry, which has persisted in all cults and at all times, has become tiresome to souls with its sensual indulgence and false luster.

21. Soon the generations will come who will introduce spiritual worship of my divinity in all the ends of the earth. When this form of religious practice then finally establishes a kingdom of peace and light among men, religious fanaticism will disappear among men, because in spiritualization there is no more room for passions, nor for ignorance.

22. Because you still see a long way ahead of you, you should not stop and think that you will never reach your goal. Progress, for even over a lost moment your soul will cry later. Who told you that the goal is in this world? Who has taught you that death is the end, and that in that moment you can reach my kingdom?

23. Death is like a short sleep, after which the soul, under the caress of my light, will awaken with renewed strength as to a new day that begins for it.

24. Death is the key that opens to you the gates of the prison in which you were while bound to the matter of the body, and it is also the key that opens to you the gates to eternity.

25. This planet, which was transformed into a valley of atonement by human imperfections, was captivity and banishment for the soul.

26. Verily I say to you, life on earth is another step on the ladder of life. Why don't you take it that way so that you may benefit from all its lessons? The reason why many must return to him time and time again is this: Because they did not understand it and they did not benefit from their previous life.

27. Among the men of tomorrow there will be so much spiritualization and understanding of the development that their soul must reach that - when their agony begins and they are only a step away from the death of the body - they themselves and those who stand by them in this hour will regard that moment as the most beautiful of all their earthly existence, which will be like the climax of a fruitful and profitable life, and they will be able to say, like their Master on the cross, "All is accomplished.

28. I speak to you in fatherly tone and with simple words. You have awaited my new revelation at this time filled with mysteries, and great was your surprise when you saw the simplicity of my teachings and the humble way of speaking to you.

29. Elijah came like a ray of light in the midst of a storm, followed by his invisible hosts, his great legions of spirits of light, who follow him like sheep to the shepherd. He breaks a path for the masses of people, tearing down the thorny bushes on the right and on the left, to break a breach to those who follow him, and gathers the souls who recognize his voice as that of the shepherd, who will lead them to me in this time.

30. Have ye forgotten that it was a sheep of Elijah, which gave you witness of my presence, and invited you to be united in the breach, and then to follow the track of the shepherd?

31. Open yourself, humanity, discover the way, discover the reason for life! Unite yourselves, people with people, love one another! How thin is the dividing wall that separates one home from another, and yet how distant are its inhabitants from one another! And at the borders of your countries - how many conditions are required there that you may let the foreigner through! And if you do this even among brothers of men - what have you done only with those who are in another life? You have let down a curtain between them and yourselves - if not that of your forgetfulness, then that of your ignorance, which is like thick fog.

32. When I look at the inhabitants of this world, I see that all peoples know My Name, that millions of people speak My words; but truly, I tell you, yet I see no love of men among themselves!

33. All that I am teaching you in this time and what is happening in the world is the explanation and fulfillment of the Revelation I gave to mankind through my Apostle John, when I carried him in Spirit, at the time he lived on the Island of Patmos, to the heights of heaven, to the divine plane, to immensity, to show him by symbols the origin and the goal, the Alpha and the Omega; and he saw the events that had happened, those that were taking place and those that were yet to come

34. He understood nothing of this at that time, but my voice told him, "Write down what you will see and hear," and so he wrote. John had disciples who crossed the sea in ships and sought him out in his retreat. Eagerly those men asked the one who had been a disciple of Jesus what the Master had been like, his words and his miracles; and John, emulating his Master in love and wisdom, amazed them with his words. Even as age approached, when his body was already bowed down by time, he still had enough strength to bear witness to his Master and to say to his disciples, "Love one another. When those who visited him saw that the day of John's passing was drawing near, they asked him, desiring to possess all the wisdom that that apostle had accumulated, to reveal to them all that he had learned from his Master, but in response they always heard only that phrase, "Love one another.

35. Those who asked with so much zeal and interest felt deceived, thinking that age had erased the words of Christ from his memory.

36. I tell you that John had not forgotten a single one of my words, but that out of all my teachings, as a single quintessence, he uttered that teaching which sums up the whole law: love one another.

37. How could that so beloved disciple have lost from memory the teaching of the Master, whom he loved so much?

38. Do you know, disciples of this time, if when the year 1950, the last of my rallies, has come, I will not likewise, instead of any teaching, only say to you, "Love one another"? Everything in your path of life speaks to you of this lesson: the tree that spreads its foliage to give you shade, the flower that drops its petals after you have breathed its fragrance, so that its sacrificial death becomes your delight.

39. This is the Way, this is why I have told you to love God in all created things and all creation in God, because in all things I am present and in all things I speak to you

40. I see that all men are sick, whether physical or mental. You men, in whose inner being only the constant lamentation of conscience can be heard - seek me as the source of health, for I possess the balm that heals all evils. But in order to reveal my power among you, it is necessary that you show me your hearts free of stains.

41. You have a desire that I may show my power and my miracles in your way of life, and I am ready to grant you this The treasury of your father is only waiting for your armament to shower you with health, strength and light.

42. Today cherish and nurture you my word, it is seed and irrigation at the same time; and tomorrow, when the right time has come, I will bring in the harvest of love, the golden wheat of my lands

43. Do you ask yourselves why I keep correcting your faults and imperfections? I only pluck out the nettles and other weeds that have grown in your hearts and choked your good feelings.

44. This time is for purification Not only will men have to wash away their stains of shame in the crystal clear waters of my judgment, but also the spirit beings are subject to this cleansing.

45. When men are then free from every stain, they will feel that the earth is approaching heaven. This approach will be spiritual and will fill you with peace, confidence and knowledge.

46. Disciples, if you set out in your leisure to fathom my word, you will find in its essence perfect reason and infinite righteousness. My word awakens men to an elevated life, a happy existence. But while it was necessary for you that I speak in this form to awaken you, there were some men who did not need the physically audible rallies of the spiritual to awaken them to the fulfillment of my law.

47. The intuitive spiritualists, the inspired, the dreamers, they carry me in their hearts, even without having heard the word that you have received so far They have long been in spiritual dialogue with their Master.

48. You will meet them on your way and be surprised by their knowledge of my work. They, too, will be pleased when they meet you, when they see their ideas and actions confirmed, when they hear your testimony and explanations. However, they should not discover anything in your ideas, your actions, your practice of religion or in your life that denies the spirituality of my teaching, for then they will turn away from your path with disappointment in their hearts. Watch and pray, disciples, that you may understand my teaching and apply it in your lives with the same sincerity with which you received it. Then the rejoicing in your hearts will be great when you meet those whom I have called intuitive spiritualists. Together you will form a strong community in the world, which with its prayer, its zeal in the law, its simplicity of life and its love for neighbor will teach humanity true worship of God and show it the way of good will to live in peace on earth.

49. In the humility of your prayer you say to me: "Lord, if You are the highest Creator and also our Father, do with us what is pleasing to You. If it is Your will that pain should wear away our hearts, do to us what Your will has provided. If You want us to purify ourselves before You entrust us with a task, let it be done as You have determined.

50. There are few who speak to me in this way, but they I use to give you an example of how your willingness and submission to the Father's instructions should be. But I give you all my teaching that you may become just as humble and obedient.

51. Sometimes my word will seem to you to be full of judgment and will touch the sensitivity of those who hear it. But always you will find it imbued with a divine essence, a great gentleness and infinite mercy, which will cause it to always be heard with delight and interest.

52. If my word were to overwhelm you, you would not be able to grasp it. But I want you to reflect on the divine teachings I am teaching you, for he who studies is inspired, and he who is inspired by divine love is already my disciple.

53. O you spiritualist disciples, have no fear of the completion of your task, for it is not difficult to accomplish it. With wisdom I guide you on the way so that you do not stumble, so that no one goes astray. But do not think that it is strewn with roses because I prepare the way for you - no, you will find thorny bushes and trials on it.

54. I tell you: Whoever wants to follow me or find me must prefer the way of sacrifice and renunciation to that of unhealthy pleasures and lowly passions. For in the former way you will be able to find the delights that my strength and encouragement bring you, and in the latter very painful falls. My divine trace, my trace of love, you will always find on the path of overcoming yourself, of sacrifice, of charity and humility.

55. Men are like children who do not think about the consequences of their deeds, and therefore they do not understand that a stumbling block they come across on their way is only an obstacle that the master put up to stop their unconscious run or to spare them from making a wrong decision.

56. I want you now to behave like adults, to consider your works, your deeds, to weigh your words. This is the way to bring wisdom and justice into your lives. Also, you should reflect that life is an immeasurable and constant test for the Spirit.

57. No one perishes in my way, and though there are occasions when man collapses under the weight of the cross, a higher power is raising him up again and encouraging him. This power comes from faith.

58. Blessed disciples, I tell you truthfully that the good news of my word would already have reached many hearts if this people would follow my teaching. By the example of the works in your lives you would give the greatest testimony to the truth of my teaching.

59. Let no one believe that those present are destined to do all things. No, people, every generation has the commission to do a part of my work.

60. Make a vessel out of your hearts and see to it that his love overflows into the hearts of your fellow men at the right time. But do not create obstacles that delay or prevent the spread of my teaching, for under great physical or mental pain you must remove them again.

61. Make your fellow men feel everything that my work contains in salvation and goodness. I tell you that everyone you let feel the divine influence that emanates from him will be blessed by my word.

62. I will grant you that you do to your fellow men what I have done to you; for if my word worked miracles, you also carry it in your hearts, and this very word you shall give to your fellow men.

63. As I healed you in soul and body, or restored peace to you, or caused faith to be born in your hearts, and saved you from destruction, so shall you do to all who need it. But I must point out to you that my word only works these miracles if you really feel it in your hearts beforehand, as your Father feels it when he gives it to you.

64. If you wish to know the uplifting effect and power of my word, put it into practice, and you will often be amazed. But if you keep it only in your heart to delight yourselves in it, you will be like the rich miser who does not know what he possesses nor the value of his

because his treasure is a dead fortune.

65. Learns to fish hearts, heal the sick and guide souls in the storms of this life Spiritualize, and you will find in it a power that will enable you to survive the trials with equanimity and confidence. This spiritualization will be reflected in your material life and will be food, healing balm and the torch that illuminates your path.

66. It will happen that the bread on the table of your home will be scarce, without your body feeling hunger and your strength waning. There will come days of pain and sorrow, in which plagues will devastate the cities, and where there is no doctor and no medicine is relied upon, my invisible balm will be revealed, which will come down in the moments of my children's prayer. But you must earn merit before the days of desolation approach, so that then, instead of dealing with your own pain, you may relieve that of your fellow men.

67. Light lamps of faith in the hearts of your fellow men, teaching them to speak my name with reverence, to value my teaching highly, and to pray with the Spirit. Remember that man does not live by bread alone, but also by every word that comes from the Lord.
