Teaching 138:
1. Beloved disciples, every moment that passes in your life is a step that brings you closer to your Father. Slowly, step by step, you walk the path that leads to the Kingdom of Light.
2. Step by step you are approaching the time in which you will understand how to give the spiritual what is rightfully his, and the world what is due to you, the time of true prayer, the devotion to God without fanaticism, in which you will know how to pray before every project, in which you will watch over what has been entrusted to you.
3. How will man be able to go astray when he asks his Father in prayer before doing his will? The man who knows how to pray lives in communion with God, recognizes the value of the benefits he receives from his Father, and at the same time understands the meaning or purpose of the trials he is going through.
4. The person who prays to God is a spiritualized person, who does not have a dark bandage before his eyes and who is capable of discovering within himself and outside of himself unknown worlds, unknown aspects of life, knowledge and truths that surround the life of people without them noticing them.
5. Whoever succeeds in discovering this path cannot stop because his senses have awakened and his spiritual faculties have become sensitive. Today they hear voices of nature, tomorrow they will be able to perceive messages of the Spiritual Kingdom, later they will hear the voice of their Lord in a Spirit to Spirit union, fruit of the love between the Father and His children.
6. People, do not envy these voice bearers through whom I announce myself because when you earnestly prepare yourselves physically and spiritually you will even surpass them after this rallies is over.
7. A time of miracles, trials and extraordinary events is the present one, reserved for this people, witnesses of My revelation in this Third Age
8. I have not yet spoken My last word, that is, given My last teachings in which I will still reveal many secrets to you But My will and My decrees are written down in the conscience of this whole people so that they have full knowledge of what the end of My rallies is to be.
9. You must understand that I have taught you all that you are to know so that you may enter into the worlds and homes that await you For just as your soul had to be prepared in the preceding sphere in which it dwelt to incarnate and live on earth, so it must prepare to return to the otherworldly sphere which it left, even if it goes to homes higher in love, purity and wisdom.
10. Do not doubt my words. In the First Time I fulfilled My promise to you to deliver Israel from the bondage of Egypt - which meant idolatry and darkness - to lead you to Canaan, the land of freedom and worship of the living God. There my coming as man was announced to you, and prophecy was fulfilled word for word in Christ. I, that Master who dwelt in Jesus and loved you in Him, promised the world to speak to it in another time and reveal Myself in the Spirit. And here is the fulfillment of my promise.
11. Today I announce to you that I have reserved for your Spirit wonderful regions, residences, spiritual homes where you can find true freedom to love, to do good and to spread My Light. Can you doubt this after I have fulfilled My earlier promises to you?
12. Know that the great Spirits work eternally in My Work Elijah, who was destined to announce the coming of the Master to His disciples, is the light that breaks a breach in souls and comes down to those who stray from the path, to those who sleep or whose faith in the Spiritual Life has died to enfold them in the fire of love that radiates from Him, a fire that is faith, eradication of evil and purification. His voice resounds in every nation, his purifying fire advances and destroys the weeds. Purification leaves a trail of pain in its path, but soon a divine consolation comes, embodied in Mary, who pours her healing balm into every sobbing heart, into every creature tormented by pain.
13. I will come and seek heart after heart, to make men hear My divine call, which only tells them: "Follow Me.
14. I will comfort you in your trials and tell you if the cup in your mouth is very bitter, tell your Father who dwells in heaven, as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane: "Father, if it is possible for you to take this cup from Me, do so; but above all, let Your will be done, and not mine.
15. If you pray and keep watch in this way, I will hold back the angel who approaches to give you the cup of testing But if it is the divine will that you drink it, I will be with you to give you strength to pass the test victoriously. Do not forget that for one who suffers and blesses me, there is indulgence for many. Now you will be able to understand why those who are free from sin carry pain in themselves; for they are worthy to help wash away the stains of their fellow men.
16. It was not My desire that man on earth should suffer pain But since they wanted it that way, from the first man to the present ones, bear your burden with patience and love and offer your sufferings to Me with humility. Your pain will be fruitful in you and also in some of your fellow men.
17. How much have men suffered uselessly in this world! How much they have wept without receiving a reward and without reaping a seed! Those, on the other hand, who knew how to bear their cross with patience - when the last moment had come for them and they believed they were in the depths of an abyss - opened the eyes of their Spirit and looked at themselves standing on the mountain heights.
18. It will not be the blood which you have shed in your fratricidal wars that saves mankind. Rather, it will be your prayer full of love and mercy and your virtues that will make your fellow men worthy to feel my peace.
19. Do not proclaim loudly that this peace that the nations have made is the true one. Watch and pray so that peace may be built on foundations of spiritual and human love, not on those of terror or mortal threat.
20. This false peace made by men is like a castle built on the quicksand of the sea, which will soon collapse when the waves stirred up by the wind whip it.
21. I, the Spirit of peace, have offered it to men, telling them by conscience, 'Here am I, love one another, and you will be saved.
22. Men still want to live in childhood, they do not want to grow up; for after having lived so long on earth, watering it with their blood and tears, they still have not understood how to reap the fruit of experience, so they still do not know what the peace of the Spirit means. Their hearts have hardened, and therefore their noblest sensation, which is charity, does not vibrate within them. That is why the cup of suffering has made itself felt with each of my children.
23. All pain caused by men will gather in one single cup, which will be drunk by the guilty. Thus their euthanized Spirit will wake up. Then you will experience how respected and powerful men, in the face of unforeseen events, will leave their position or their people to hide with their soul torn apart by remorse. Others will feel that their reason and ability to speak are confused.
24. What do you say to all this, people? Do you already feel prepared to seek out the people who are lost in the entanglements of their lives?
25. Consider in what short time the nations prepare a war and make a soldier out of any man, while I have been equipping you since 1866 to become soldiers in this cause, and yet I cannot see one of My children fully prepared
26. This time is different from the first and second. Today you live in a chaos of unleashed visible and invisible elements. Woe to him who does not keep watch, for he will succumb, and he who is armed must fight!
27. Thousands of invisible eyes look upon you; some to ambush you and bring you down on your way, others to protect you.
28. Disunity is growing and spreading among peoples and nations, penetrating hearts and families
29. The mores are degenerating, and the men, the women, and the children are becoming accustomed to corruption.
30. In the face of all these shameful things, you shall not cover your eyes nor plug your ears, for if your heart desponds, it will not be compassionate to give love and show mercy, thus witnessing My work with your fellow men.
31. Of course I must see everything because I love you; but after I have judged you, I will save you
32. Times of greatest bitterness are coming. For then I prepare you so that you may not say that the Master did not speak prophetically to you. When you are then prepared for these times, you will survive every situation well.
33. I will make peace among men through My messengers. How will you build the peace of the world on hatred, power and fear? But before that, the fires will burn, the waters will wash clean and the snow will purify.
34. Disciples, be strong, that you may resist the unbelief of men, that persecution, slander, or attacks may not make you despondent. My word will make the Spirit of men tremble. The theologian will feel compelled to question his science, the philosopher will investigate with his greatest teachers, and every sect or religious community will be deeply shaken in the face of My new revelations. Then the battle of ideas will break out; for while some will awaken to truth, others will want to remain in their fanaticism and traditions, and they will fight each other. In the midst of this struggle, let the voice of my children be heard and say to the passionately excited masses of people: Do not make the fruit of life a bone of contention.
35. Now you still feel small and weak, but tomorrow you will be strong and love me in truth because I will reveal to you what theologians will not be able to discover, and you will understand what the learned will not be able to understand. But not because you are loved greater or more than the others, but because since the First Time you have known how to open your heart like a tabernacle, in which I have laid down the law, wisdom and revelation in each of the times.
36. In the first time you knew the symbols: the tabernacle or sanctuary, which kept the ark of the covenant, in which were the tables of the law. When those symbols had fulfilled their task, My Will made them disappear from the earth; they were taken from the eyes of men so that the world would not fall to idolatry, but the meaning or essence of those lessons remained written down in the conscience of My servants. In the Second Time, after the Sacrifice of Christ was accomplished, I made the greatest symbol of Christianity disappear: the Cross, together with the Crown of Thorns, the Chalice and everything that could have become an object of fanatical worship by mankind.
37. In this Third Age I appeared in the Tabernacle of your Spirit to lay down My new revelations in the Ark of the Covenant there.
38. In this time you came as "prodigal sons" to the Father's house, and I said to you: Behold, in your absence your younger brothers and sisters were scattered, and I remained alone in My chamber and at My table. And the people in their ingratitude were divided, and many denied their father. But today I give you back your property, I feed you, so that you may go in search of those who went astray after you, and you bring them into My presence. Then you will have peace.
39. I do not reproach your material being for the fratricidal war that mankind has inflamed, nor for the discord that still exists among the people of Israel. It is your Spirit to whom I turn, because on him lie the discord and divisions which the tribes of that people have suffered in their bosom since the day when the children of Jacob filled that father's heart with pain when they told him that wild animals in the desert devoured Joseph, although they had sold him to the merchants.
40. Since that day that evil seed has been germinating in the heart of this people, which today has a new time ahead of it to honor His Lord by fulfilling the law of loving one's fellow men without distinction of race or language, and being a salvation and blessing to all the nations of the earth.
41. The name "Israel" your Father has given you, but it is a spiritual name. I have made great revelations to you and have given you power so that you do not feel unworthy when I call you so.
42. It is your Spirit I seek, as I have done at all times.
43. My teaching shows you a perfect, spiritual and pure devotion to the Father; for the Spirit of mankind, without being aware of it, has reached the threshold of the Lord's Temple where he will enter to feel my presence, to hear my voice through his conscience and to see me in the light that falls on his mind
44. The emptiness that people feel within their various religious communities at this time is caused by the Spirit's hunger and thirst for spiritualization The rites and traditions are not enough for him; he longs to know my truth.
45. In the deepest depths of many people I discover the inner struggle between Spirit and matter. He wants to go beyond the splendor of ceremonial cult to discover the beauty of the spiritual. I have kindled this light which enlightens you and worries you. I am this voice that calls you. No one has been able to explain your anxiety nor understand your inner struggle. I alone, who penetrate into your heart, know your longings and your thirst. It is also I who show you the path that you must follow so that you may find what you seek.
46. How many of those who listen to Me have been rebuked, misjudged or hurt in the noblest part of their soul because they were sincere and had entrusted their feelings to someone!
47. You who hear My words, ask Me why I have come to the most insignificant and sinners to reveal through them the teachings of My Spirit; to this I answer you I act just as you do when you are parents on earth. You pay more attention and more care to that of your children which is the weakest, the sickest, or the one in danger of going astray.
48. If men do this, what should your Heavenly Father not do for His children?
49. The light of My Word has appeared among you like an oasis in the spiritual desert of this mankind, so that all wanderers may approach it seeking water and the peace of the Spirit
50. It is necessary for this teaching to reach all people. It will bring light into the darkness of the confused, the ignorant and the haughty who believe to know everything.
51. My word will reconcile the Spirit with matter, since enmity has existed between the two for a long time, and you are to know that your body, which you have regarded as an obstacle and a temptation to the course of development of the Spirit, can be the best tool for the accomplishment of your tasks on earth.
52. Wash your soul and your body in this flood of light that is pouring on you in this Third Age, so that you may understand my teaching He who is pure can penetrate into what was before a mystery, because the pangs of conscience do not stop him on his way.
53. Confess before Me, from Whom you cannot falsify and hide anything of what you carry in your hearts, and you will feel My divine forgiveness through your conscience Dignity will be your garment, with which you will be ashamed before no man, whom you imagine yourselves to be, however great he may be, whether in power or in knowledge.
54. Sow my seed of love. You are on earth, which is also the teacher of men and teaches you that she gives back to you in multiplication what you sow on her, as a proof of gratitude and love.
55. Such is also the Spirit of your Father. He is the highest and divine reward. But your seed must always be good and clean, so that you may multiply it by good fruits. In order that your soul, which has been stained with sin in its journey, may reach the pure bosom of God, it must go through many things and be purified, since it must come to its Father without the slightest trace of evil, nor the smallest shadow of its past imperfections.
56. If she blasphemed God on earth, only a song of love will break out of her as she approaches the presence of her Creator.
57. Soul, how long will you let me wait for your arrival on the summit of the mountain?
58. There, where I ascended from the cross, I await you
59. Slowly you approach. It was necessary to free yourselves by first divesting yourselves of your earthly possessions, for these possessions had robbed Me of your soul.
60. Come to me, to the feast which your father has prepared for you, that you may receive from him the teachings which are due to you and which form your inheritance.
61. Think earnestly of the generations that come after you, think of your children. As you have given them the physical being, so you have the duty to give them spiritual life - that which is faith, virtue, and spiritualization.
62. While I am letting My Light swing over My beloved people, I come down to you to bring you the peace of My Spirit you are a small number but your love for Me is great
63. Hear Me now through the voice bearer, since you are not yet able to receive directly the divine inspiration
64. I first had to prepare these bodies so that the vibrations of My thoughts could be absorbed by them as faithfully as possible and transmitted to the listeners. Notice that when they speak, they explain to you that it is not they who give you the teaching; their voice told you: I am the Divine Master who speaks to you.
65. The form of My rallies will be able to be changed, but the spiritual essence of My teaching is the same: absolute, unchanging, outside of time and space. The Infinite is eternal.
66. Only the love of your Spirit will be able to comprehend this teaching. Why? Because it is completely absorbed in the spiritual, in its essence, which is eternity.
67. If man shows no interest in recognizing himself, he delays his upward development and his understanding of what eternal life holds in itself; and this is the reason why he was not able to achieve the realization of his greatest work.
68. You have been born in me. The spiritual and material life you have received from the Father. And figuratively I can tell you that at the same time as you were born in Me, I was born in you.
69. I am born in your conscience, grow in your development and reveal Myself fully in your works of love, so that you may say with rejoicing, "The Lord is with me.
70. I prepare you like little children, for the hour is drawing near when the bell sounds with rejoicing, ringing for victory and joyfully announcing the spiritual awakening of mankind.
71. Hear Me in silence, and meditate silently, O people Tomorrow awaits you, it is the way you have to go to reach Me. But after you are already enlightened by the light of My teaching, you will be able to guide yourselves by what you have learned and understood. Knock at My door, I am the only one who opens it, I am the enlightening Master. Ask, ask and it will be given to you.
72. In the desert of a long life journey, Christ is the oasis. But it is necessary that you have faith so that you may know how to find Him in your hours of loneliness or of fear.
73. I taught you self-denial and renunciation of all false glories of the world. But many could not comprehend this lesson because it seems impossible to imagine life without luxury, without pleasures and without wealth. But in this time full of pain, and with the experience gained in the lessons of life, they will of their own accord awaken to the light of truth. How great will be the astonishment of humanity when it discovers that when it frees itself from the material and simply separates itself from the superfluous, it will feel within itself how a new being emerges to a new life.
74. Beloved disciples, among whom I myself count the last ones: After My parting, only those who have prepared themselves will feel My presence. To some it is indifferent when I speak of it to you, because they think that until then still years will pass. This time will be like a moment. I will fulfill My task as a teacher, but when My Ray descends for the last time at the end of 1950, I will never again use the human organ of mind to manifest Myself in this form. Trust in me, disciple, because I will keep my word given to you, not to leave you alone. I will make you feel My presence, will give you inspiration, will comfort you. Watch now and watch hereafter, so that you will never be taken by surprise: that the one who tries secretly to rob you of your inheritance may find you vigilant, or the sick one who calls you to his camp in the middle of the night to give him the balm of your love.
75. With great clarity I have spoken to you so that you may understand Me. But you have caused me that my word moves for some time on a material level because you still have too little spiritual development to understand me. But when my parting has come near, my word on the lips of the voice bearer will have a higher spiritual meaning.
76. To the extent that my teaching gives still greater revelations, you are to make an effort to correct your errors, to renew your life and to separate yourselves from every vice and every bad inclination. If you have become pure in heart and you speak of My works, you must be believed and you must be considered as disciples of Jesus who truly preach His teaching through examples and works of love. This is the garment of grace that you should always wear and by which you can distinguish yourselves from your fellow men.
77. Spread yourselves over the earth as prophets of My divinity, awaken sleepy humanity, proclaim that justice is near Tell them that Sodom was warned but did not listen to the prophet of God, and the day of their judgment came relentlessly.
78. The forces of nature wait only for the hour to break forth upon the world, and to cleanse and purify the earth. The more sinful and arrogant a nation is, the harder My righteousness will come upon it.
79. The heart of this mankind is hard and deaf. It will be necessary for the cup of bitterness to come to it, so that it may hear the voice of conscience, the voice of the law and of divine justice. Everything will be done for the sake of salvation and the eternal life of souls. It is they whom I seek.
