Before its incarnation, the soul saw its way of life in advance


From the Book of True Life - Volume VIII - Teaching 234: 18-25

18. Disciples: Although you all come in the same way, your purpose is different and your task is different. Before the soul comes to earth, it has seen its way of
life in advance, and this knowledge, as soon as it is incarnated, has turned into experience and intuitive knowledge, which has saved it from abysses and falls.
In these instructions I exude my wisdom. Because you are my disciples who prepare the way for the masters that I will send to mankind. This way of preparation is full of dangers and temptations. Watch so you can spot the wolf in the undergrowth. Then you should take hold of the sword of love that your opponent will not be able
to withstand, and the fields covered with thistles and thorns will turn into blooming valleys.
19. Since you have heard this Word of Light, it would not be right if you fell into wrong ways tomorrow.
20. Practice love, show mercy, which is a daughter of love, and you will be saved.
Do not hide the bread that I have entrusted to you.
21. Do not be indifferent to the pain of those around you, because then you will not
sow faith in my teaching. Put yourself in the heart of every soul and you will see
that everyone is looking for the light, which is the truth. The "flesh" will rarely reveal
the struggles of the soul.
22. Prepare yourself. Because as you learn this lesson, the needy call for mercy and
tenderness.
23. Disciples, use this time that is precious. You are about to become workers in
the fields of the Lord who are the hearts of men. You should move tirelessly to the
provinces and homes, because the time to sleep is over.
24. You will be really surprised and pleased when you see that the hearts of your
fellow human beings have already been prepared to receive you.
25. Light spirits that descend from the spiritual watch and act on the paths of
men at both the important and the inconspicuous.
