From there I went to the north at the ends of the earth, and saw there a magnificent and glorious, wise event all over the earth, and I saw there three heavenly gates open in the sky. Northern winds came out of each. When they blow there is cold, hail, frost, snow, dew and rain. And from one gate they blow for good. But when they blow through the other two gates, it happens with violence and evil over the earth and they blow with violence.
Chapter 35
From there I went to the west at the ends of the earth, and saw there three open skies, as I had seen in the east, as many gates, and as many exits.
Chapter 36
And from there I went south to the ends of the earth, and saw there three open gates of heaven, and out came the south wind and dew, and rain and wind.
And from there I went east, and saw there the three eastern gates of heaven open, and above them little gates. Through each of those little gates went the stars of the heavens, and went westward on the path that was shown to them, and whenever I saw that, I have always praised the Lord of glory, and I will praise him who has accomplished the great and glorious miracles to show the greatness of his work to his angels, to the souls and to the people, to praise his work, all creation, to see the work of his power, to glorify the great work of his hands, and to praise him forever.
